June 22, 2008!
We now have a wedding date! Sunday, the 22nd of June, 2008! Exactly 4 years after we went on that first fateful date to the Giants-Dodgers game. Today, we booked El Cigarral de Las Mercedes for the wedding party.
It was a rainy day today, skies gray over Toledo, but the place was beautiful nonetheless. It’s owned by a friend of Marisa’s (Juanjo’s mom), and they often accommodate weddings of 300 or more. The cocktails will be outside on the “mirador”, or inside the house if the weather is bad, and then the dinner will happen inside a big wedding tent. Here we are on the mirador, the view of Toledo, and Juanjo walking up the path with his uncle.
More to come soon! Now that we have made the decision to do the wedding here, the details are quickly beginning to fall into place!

Wow! No wonder we get along as couples (!?) Eraj and I went for our first date to the Marin Headlands on June 22, 2003! Have a great w-planning and wedding itself. So exciting!!
